Water Heater Replacement - DC

Description

  • Sun: Brandy shut off water heater (2 water lines, 1 gas line, electrical to heater)
  • Tues: will have brandy attempt to drain water tank - hook up hose, activate Pressure release valve
  • Wed: Anthony to confirm all pipes can be moved out of the way - in particular, re-circ pump - which might require a 1/2 quick disconnect. Just be sure and debur before connecting line.
  • Thu Night: block off corner area in prep for delivery
  • Friday: Test run, removing old heater. Old heater will need to be pushed outside - need appliance dolly. New dolly should arrive.
  • Saturday: Installation of the new water heater.

Those are the suggested steps. As always, when water needs to be turned off, best to do it around 9:30am

We are getting rid of a ghe100-200 .. replacing with g100-200. Exact serial/model will need to be documented upon arrival. purchased from HD, Jan 31st
